Hamlet
Vampire Bat（ヴァンパイアバット）はダウンロードコンテンツ「Don't Starve: Hamlet」に登場するモブです。Hamlet版のハウンドといった立ち位置であり、定期的にプレイヤーを襲撃します。プレイヤーの生き残った日数が長くなればなるほど一度の襲撃で襲ってくるヴァンパイアバットの数が増えます。彼らの体力は130あり、ハウンドのように追いかけてきます。倒されると、彼らはモンスターの肉や、Pig Skin?をドロップします。
定期的な襲撃以外でも、彼らのねぐらである洞窟の裂け目で眠っているのを見つけることができます。 ヴァンパイアバットは、プレイヤーの攻撃や地震のように、なにかしらの暴力的な事象が発生するまで眠っているようです。

襲撃の兆候として、地面にヴァンパイアバットの影が現れます。この影はReign of Giantsのハゲタカのものと似ています。襲撃は通常5日ごとに発生しますが、大半はランダムです。アポークカリプスの間は、ヴァンパイアバットが毎日出現します。
ヴァンパイアバットをHumid Seasonに対処するのは非常に難しいです。霧がプレイヤーの視界を妨げるので、逃げながら射程外から安全に攻撃する方法を難しくさせます。

- ヴァンパイアバットの影が発生しているときにプレイヤーが建物の中に入ると、プレイヤーが建物から出るまでヴァンパイアバットは出現しません。
- ゲーム序盤に吸血コウモリを対処する簡単な方法は、単に彼らを近衛兵のところに誘導すればいいだけです。しかし、近衛兵は夕方と夜は松明を武器として使うため、周りのものを燃やしてしまわないよう注意を払わなければなりません。
- 近衛兵がヴァンパイアバットを対処するのに忙しくしている隙にプレイヤーは近くの畑から盗むことができます。
