Sea Hound（シーハウンド）はShipwreckedに現れる敵対モブです。食料アイテムとしての魚類、肉類を海上で落とすことで発生することがあります。発生する確率は落とす肉の量にも左右されます。例えばプレイヤーが大量の肉を所持しており、それを海に落とすことで容易に、かつ高確率で複数体発生します。（ただし、Monster MeatとRoe、Shark Finはいくら落としても発生しません）他にも、Shoalで釣りをしていると20%の確率で発生します。
シーハウンドはすぐにプレイヤーに対する興味を失うので海に分散しますが、後で同じ場所に行くと再び遭遇します。

以下はそれぞれの武器で何度攻撃すればSea Hound を倒せるかを表にしたものです。（Weather Pain は攻撃を与える回数がランダムなので省いています。）

It takes 2 blasts to freeze a Sea Hound with an Ice Staff. It takes 3 Sleep Darts to put Sea Hound to sleep.
Trivia[]
- When Sea Hounds are approaching, Wilson may comment, "I'm going to need a bigger boat...." This is a reference to the movie Jaws, in which a lead character says, "We're gonna need a bigger boat," while being stalked by a shark.
- A Cargo boat may randomly be found in sea containing some loot, but jumping on the boat will trigger a Sea Hound attack.
