Mushtree（キノコの木）は洞窟内に生成される資源で、ごく狭い範囲を照らす光源の役割を果たします。

最もよく見られるのは青キノコの木で、伐採すると丸太2つ、青キノコ1つが手に入ります。ショベルを使ってもう1つ丸太を掘り起こすこともできます。切り株を燃やすと灰になります。青以外に赤と緑があり、伐採するとそれぞれ丸太1つと赤キノコまたは緑キノコ1つを入手することができます。燃やすと灰と炭を1つずつ落として消滅します。キノコの木は松ぼっくりを落とす常緑樹と異なり、再生不能資源です。

全てのダウンロードコンテンツでは、満月の夜にキノコがキノコの木に変化します（地下と地上どちらでも）。満月が終わると、キノコの木はキノコに戻ります。切り株の状態であれば採取後のキノコに戻ります。

Don't Starve Togetherのキノコの木は、特定の季節の特定の時間に、光る胞子を放出します。胞子は、青キノコの木では冬の夜、緑キノコの木では春の夕暮れ、赤キノコの木では夏の昼間に放出されます。3種類のキノコの木はすべて、再生の対象となっており、再生は胞子を放出する時期に合わせて行われます。

Webbed BlueMushtree（クモ糸つきキノコの木）は、クモの一種であるダングリング・デプス・ドゥエラーによってつくられます。彼らは、天井の巣周辺のキノコの木を1日1回から最大6回まで、クモ糸つきキノコの木に変化させます。この木の近くにあるクモの巣を踏むとダングリング・デプス・ドゥエラーが出現して襲いかかってきます。また、この木を斧で切り倒そうとした場合も、ダングリング・デプス・ドゥエラーが出現し、襲ってきます。この場合は、基本的にクモと敵対しないWebberであっても襲われます。

キノコの木の伐採は、洞窟でキノコを入手する最も簡単な方法です。しかし、キノコの木は貴重な永久光源です。明かりは洞窟での生死を分かつ要素でもあるため、伐採は良く考えてから行いましょう。

トリビア[]

WickerbottomとWagstaffによると、キノコの木は、通常の木が真菌の感染によって変化したものです。
Wickerbottomは、赤と緑のキノコの木が生み出している菌が「Mycenaluxaeterna」と「Mycenasilvaelucens」であると述べています。
- Mycena（クヌギタケ属）の一種であるMycena chlorophos（ヤコウタケ）は発光する生物として有名です。
- 「Luxeterna」は英語で「永遠の光」を意味し、「silvaelucens」は「明るい森」を意味します。
