Midsummer CawnivalはDon't Starve Togetherにて導入されたイベントです。開催日は2021年は6月3日～7月6日（PT）です。2022年は6月2日からとなっています。

このイベントは夏至祭をモチーフにしたものとなっており、冬に行われるWinter's Feastのように夏に行われる季節限定イベントとなっています。また、このイベントは毎年6月に行われる「Klei Fest」というイベントと同時に開催されます。Klei Festはゲーム開発元であるKlei Entertainmentの大型イベントであり、この期間中はKleiが開発した他のゲームでも同様のイベントやアップデートが行われる他、ゲームの大特価セールが行われます。

Corvus Goodfeatherはゲーム開始時に華やかな門の周辺をうろついているモブです。近くに立つと画面左側のクラフトタブ一覧にCawnival Creationタブが表示され、そこからCawnival Saplingを購入することができます。

Cawnival Saplingを地面に植えるとCawnival Treeとなり、中央の木を調べてベルを鳴らすと遠くにいるCorvus Goodfeatherを呼び出すことができます。この時改めて木の付近を徘徊するCorvus Goodfeatherに近づくと、Cawnival Creationタブにさらにアイテムが追加され、ミニゲームの施設を作成するキットや施設を利用するためのCawnival Tokenを購入できるようになります。

Cawnival Treeはイベント限定の建造物です。ゲーム開始時に華やかな門の周辺をうろついているCorvus GoodfeatherからCawnival Saplingを購入し、地面に植えることで出現します。植えた後は周辺にCrow Kidが降りてきます。また、調べるとベルが鳴りCorvus Goodfeatherがやってきます。

木の周辺にPrize Boothで購入した飾りを設置するとその数に応じて木の見た目が3段階までレベルアップします。6個設置で2段階目、12個設置で3段階目になります。レベルアップするごとにCrow Kidの数が1体ずつ増え、3段階目で3体になります。

木を撤去したい場合は斧を10回使用すれば切り倒すことができます。

Cawnival Tokenはミニゲーム施設に投入するとゲームを開始することができます。Cawnival TokenはCawnival Treeの近くにいるCorvus Goodfeatherから購入するか、Crow KidにおやつのPopcornかCorny Slushを与えると入手できます。Crow Kidは一度おやつを与えた後は食べきるまで待たないと再びおやつを与えることはできません（Popcornなら1時間、Corny Slushなら12分待つ必要がある）。

Crow KidはCawnival Tree周辺に出現するモブです。Cawnival Treeの円形エリア内に置かれた装飾品の数に応じてCrow Kidも増えていきます。基本的には祭りの観客として木の周辺をうろついたり装飾についてセリフを呟いたりします。ミニゲームで遊ぶ際、近くにCrow Kidがいればゲームの様子を見に来てくれ、結果が良ければゲームが終わったときにPrize Ticketを1枚プレゼントしてくれます。

おやつのPopcornかCorny Slushを与えるとPrize Ticket1枚とCawnival Token1個をプレゼントしてくれます。一度に与えられるおやつはどちらか1個のみであり、再びおやつを与える場合は前回与えた分を食べきるまで待つ必要があります（Popcornなら1時間、Corny Slushなら12分待つ必要がある）。

モンスターおよび影の怪物（実体化してない場合も含む）が近づくとCrow Kidは一旦空へ飛んで退避します。

Crow Kidにはバニーマンやブタと同様にランダムに名前がつけられており、マウスカーソルを重ねると名前を調べることができます。

ミニゲーム

ミニゲームは全部で6種類あり、Corvus GoodfeatherからEggs in a Basket Kit、Hubbub for Grub Kit、Egg Scramble Kit、Nest Defender Kit、Cuckoo Spinwheel Kit、Birdhouse Ball Drop Kitのいずれかを購入し、地面に設置するとそれぞれのミニゲームが遊べるようになります。ゲーム1回につきCawnival Token（これもCorvus Goodfeatherから購入）を1枚消費します。ゲームが終了すると結果に応じてPrize Ticketを貰うことができ、これを使ってPrize Boothでさまざまなアイテムと交換できます。

Eggs in a Basketの施設は、かごに入ったダイヤマークがついた3つの卵のオブジェが目印です。

ゲームを始めると9つの穴から卵のおもちゃが一斉に飛び出し、すぐに引っ込みます。卵が飛び出しているうちに黄色い大きなダイヤマークが付いた卵の位置を覚え、引っ込んだ後にそれを当てます。正解数が増えてくると一度に登場するダイヤマーク付きの卵の数が増えていきます（覚えるべき卵の数は中央のオブジェから出てくるカードに提示されています）。

制限時間内になるべくたくさんの卵の位置を当てれば貰えるPrize Ticketの数も増えます。

Hubbub for Grubの施設は、カラフルな紐（エサのおもちゃ）が入った鳥小屋のオブジェが目印です。

ゲームを始めると小屋からエサのおもちゃが3つ出てきます。このうち1つを手に装備し、周辺の穴からランダムに出てくる雛鳥のおもちゃに与えます。

制限時間内になるべくたくさんの雛鳥にエサを与えれば貰えるPrize Ticketの数も増えます。

Egg Scrambleの施設は、木にとまったカラスのオブジェが目印です。

ゲームを始めるとカラスのオブジェからぜんまいで動く卵のおもちゃが飛び出します。卵のおもちゃはプレイヤーが近づくと逃げるので、これをうまく誘導してカラスのオブジェの元に持っていきましょう。

制限時間内になるべくたくさんの卵のおもちゃを誘導できれば貰えるPrize Ticketの数も増えます。

作成キットを地面に設置するとCarnival Cannonが設置され、調べるとConfetti Cannonからは紙吹雪が、Glitter Cannonからはキラキラとした光が、Streamer Cannonからはテープがパーティークラッカーのように飛び出します。

作成キットを地面に設置するとEgg Ridesが展開され、調べるとしばらくの間それぞれの施設特有の動きを見せます。また、Cawnival Tokenを与えた場合は動く時間が若干長くなります。
