Butterfly Wings（チョウの羽）はチョウを殺すことで手に入れられる食料です。チョウは98%の確率でチョウの羽を落としますが2%の確率でレアなバターを落とすこともあります。
食べることで8の体力と9の満腹度を回復させます。これは調理鍋に入れることでバターマフィンの材料にもなります。

Reign of GiantsではTumbleweedを採集した際にも得ることができるようになりました。またキャットクーンのおもちゃとしても使われます。

Tips[]
- A Butterfly / Flower Farm is formed by catching lots of Butterflies and planting them as Flowers in a small space. Flowers will spawn more Butterflies. Alternatively, the player can catch a bee with a Bug Net, then drop it on the ground. "Homeless" bees will wander and spawn flowers at random instead of returning to a hive/box.
- They are advisable alternative healing method to the flower petals, as they are 8 times more effective. Additionally, they may be used in the Crock Pot recipe Butter Muffins.
- An efficient way to hunt Butterflies is to run close to them while they are moving (or not) and to do a quick attack by pressing Ctrl+F with no weapon.
- Pigs that eat butterfly wings will produce manure, just like when they eat a vegetable. However a pig cannot be given the wings directly - the player must drop the wings on the ground and wait for the pig to walk over and eat it himself.
