Cut Stones are Refined Items crafted with 3 Rocks. A Science Machine is required to unlock the recipe. They can be used to craft various Structures. They stack up to 10, making a full stack of Cut Stone, which takes 30 Rocks to craft, less space-efficient than a full stack of 40 Rocks.

- Cut stone was used in the Ice Box before Gears were.
- In old research system, the research cost of a Cut Stone is 30.
- Because the stones are formed in stacks of 40 pieces, and cut stone only 10, it is inefficient to process the stones into blocks until you are ready to use them, as they will unnecessarily take up 1.5 times more space.
