La Pierre de Contact (ou Touch Stone) est une structure apparaissant naturellement dans le monde qui peut être activée pour permettre au joueur de ressusciter en cas de mort. Elle ne peut être détruite ni par marteau ni par le Deerclops.
La pierre de contact s'active en cliquant dessus. Si activée, le personnage qui meurt ressuscitera près de la pierre de contact la plus proche et cette dernière sera détruite. Elle est entourée par 4 têtes de cochons sur des piques qui peuvent être détruites sans conséquence pour son fonctionnement. Le joueur peut également récupérer les 4 carrés de parquet en bois se trouvant sous la pierre.
La pierre de contact est l'un des 3 moyens de revenir à la vie dans Don't Starve, les deux autres étant l’effigie de viande et l'Amulette de résurrection.
Le nombre de pierre de contact est de 2 maximum dans la configuration de base. Il est possible d'augmenter ce nombre dans les caractéristiques au début d'une nouvelle partie.
